While my house is undergoing building work with all the dust and mess that comes with it, I can’t help but browse online for future home decor bits – it’s really quite dangerous! Here are some pieces I’ve found that I can imagine adding to my home once the builders finally skedaddle.

1. Lilbet Rug, Anthropologie

I absolutely love the tones in this rug – the extent of my blush pink obsession knows no bounds I’m telling you! The lighter colours of this one is perfect if you want that boho, berber-style rug without the heavy black and white monochrome you’ll typically find. I can picture this in my office to balance out the dark navy I’ve painted one wall and add some texture and interest while still being pretty. This comes in three different sizes, the largest being 5ft x 8ft (and a hefty £398 – that’s me sticking to the smallest then…)

2. Luxe Bar Table, Oliver Bonas

Marble + gold, need I say more? Oliver Bonas do so many insta-worthy pieces in this sort of style, they really are the best for glam side tables & drinks trolleys. This would make a great feature in the corner of any colour living room, especially topped with everyone’s favourite drinks!

3. Woven Edna Cushion, Anthropologie

Is it obvious that I like boho furnishings yet? I love the texture and interest they add and the neutral colours of this one means that I wouldn’t easily get bored of it & could always fling it somewhere else if I did – from the bed to the sofa to a lonely-looking chair, I think this would perk any seat up. There also happens to be a matching throw which I think is bloody gorgeous (you didn’t hear it from me, go get it quick!). Both added to Wishlist, thank you very much!

4. Dash Pendant Light, Dwell

For a while now I’ve been scouring the Internet in search of some lighting to go in my living room as a centre piece and in the dining area of the kitchen and have so far failed miserably until I found this beauty. The gold and black together is just what I’m after and it’s wide enough to create a feature in the middle of the room. My only concern is that it may hang down too low but I assume it can be adjusted right?

5. Striped Wool Basket, Zara Home

This may be a boring one but if you can jazz up plain old home necessities then why not! This woollen boho (surprise surprise) basket would make a lovely laundry basket while adding a bit of style at the same time. Win win!

6. Lacquered Planter with Golden Base, Zara Home

As I plan on filling my home with plenty of (hard-to-kill) plants, a large planter like this is ideal. I love the height it provides and the gold legs ensure it would tie in with other accessories around the room while still standing out as a feature on its own. This would look great in my office or living room, really anywhere now I come to think of it… You could always spray paint the actual pot a different colour too if you wanted to change things up!

What are your favourite interior picks at the moment? Will you be bagging any of these?
